Accessibility Statement
Last updated: March 15, 2026
Skode Technologies ("Skode," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards to our website and platform.
1. Our Commitment
We strive to ensure that our website (https://skodeai.com) and our SaaS platform (Skode CRM and Skode Flow) conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.
2. Measures We Have Taken
We have taken the following measures to ensure the accessibility of our Services:
- Semantic HTML: Our website uses proper semantic HTML elements (headings, lists, landmarks, forms) to ensure content is correctly interpreted by assistive technologies.
- Keyboard Navigation: All interactive elements on our website and platform are accessible via keyboard. Users can navigate using Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter, Space, and arrow keys without requiring a mouse.
- Color Contrast: We maintain a minimum color contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text, in compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA requirements.
- Alt Text: All meaningful images include descriptive alternative text. Decorative images use empty alt attributes to be ignored by screen readers.
- Focus Indicators: Visible focus indicators are provided for all interactive elements to help keyboard users understand where they are on the page.
- Responsive Design: Our website and platform are designed to be usable at various zoom levels (up to 200%) and across different screen sizes without loss of content or functionality.
- ARIA Labels: We use WAI-ARIA attributes where necessary to provide additional context to assistive technologies, particularly for dynamic content and custom interface components.
- Form Labels: All form fields have associated labels, and error messages are clearly communicated both visually and to assistive technologies.
- Skip Navigation: A "Skip to main content" link is provided to allow keyboard users to bypass repetitive navigation elements.
- Video Captions: Where we provide video content, we include closed captions or transcripts.
3. Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Our current conformance status:
- Website (skodeai.com): Partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We are actively working toward full conformance.
- Skode CRM Platform: Partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Some complex interactive components may have known limitations (see below).
- Skode Flow Platform: Partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Messaging interfaces present inherent accessibility challenges that we are working to address.
4. Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some areas of our Services may not yet be fully accessible. Known limitations include:
- Complex Data Visualizations: Some charts, graphs, and dashboards may not be fully accessible to screen readers. We provide alternative text summaries where possible, and we are working to improve data table alternatives for all visualizations.
- Drag-and-Drop Interfaces: Pipeline views and kanban boards use drag-and-drop functionality that may be challenging for keyboard-only users. We provide alternative keyboard-accessible methods for moving items between stages.
- Third-Party Integrations: Some content or functionality provided by third-party services may not meet our accessibility standards. We work with our partners to encourage accessibility improvements.
- PDF Documents: Some PDF exports and documents generated by the platform may not be fully accessible. We are working to improve PDF accessibility.
- Real-Time Chat: Live chat messaging features may present challenges for screen reader users due to the dynamic nature of the content. We are implementing ARIA live regions to improve this experience.
5. Assistive Technology Compatibility
Our Services are designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies:
- Screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack).
- Screen magnification software.
- Speech recognition software (Dragon NaturallySpeaking).
- Keyboard-only navigation.
- Browser zoom (up to 200% magnification).
6. Testing and Evaluation
We regularly evaluate the accessibility of our Services through:
- Automated accessibility testing tools (axe, Lighthouse, WAVE).
- Manual testing with screen readers and keyboard navigation.
- Periodic third-party accessibility audits.
- User feedback and testing with users who have disabilities.
7. Feedback and Contact
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of our Services. If you encounter any accessibility barriers, please let us know so we can address them:
- Email: support@skodeai.com
- Subject Line: "Accessibility Feedback"
When reporting an accessibility issue, please include:
- A description of the issue and the page or feature where it occurs.
- The assistive technology you are using (screen reader, browser, etc.).
- Your operating system and browser version.
- Any suggested improvements.
We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within 2 business days and provide a resolution or workaround within 10 business days.
8. Continuous Improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We are committed to continually improving the accessibility of our Services by incorporating accessibility into our design and development processes, training our team on accessibility best practices, and addressing issues as they are identified. Our accessibility roadmap is reviewed quarterly.
