Invoicing

Skode CRM includes a full invoicing system — no need for separate billing software. Create professional invoices, share payment links, automate recurring billing, issue credit notes, and track accounts receivable, all within your CRM.

Creating an Invoice

Navigate to the Invoicing module and click + New Invoice. Select a customer from your contacts, add line items with descriptions, quantities, and prices. The invoice automatically calculates subtotals, taxes (configurable per region), and totals. Apply discounts at the line-item or invoice level.

Invoice Templates

Choose from professionally designed invoice templates or create your own. Customize your logo, colors, payment terms, footer notes, and tax display format. Templates support multi-currency with automatic exchange rate lookup. Set a default template under Settings > Invoicing.

Payment Links

Every invoice includes a secure payment link. When you send an invoice via email, the recipient clicks the link to view the invoice on a branded customer portal and pay online. Skode integrates with Stripe, Razorpay, and PayPal for payment processing. Payment confirmation is automatic — the invoice status updates to "Paid" instantly.

Recurring Billing

Set up recurring invoices for subscription-based services. Configure the billing frequency (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually), start date, and end date or number of cycles. Skode automatically generates and sends invoices on schedule. Failed payments trigger retry logic and customer notifications.

Credit Notes

Issue credit notes against paid invoices for refunds or adjustments. Credit notes reduce the customer's outstanding balance and can be applied to future invoices. The audit trail tracks every credit note with reason codes and approval workflows.

Accounts Receivable Reporting

The AR dashboard shows total outstanding, overdue amounts, average payment time, and aging analysis. Aging buckets (30/60/90/120 days) help you prioritize collection efforts. Automated reminders send follow-up emails for overdue invoices on a configurable schedule.
